14 days free, then $4 a month. No ads, ever.

A budget app that doesn’t ask for your bank password.

You type the numbers. FinTidy does the rest — your balance, your monthly totals, and how close you are to what you’re saving for.

Sample figures shown.

  • No bank connection

Nothing to link. No credentials to lose.

  • You are the customer

Not the product. No ads, no trackers, nothing sold on.

  • Delete it all in one tap

Your account and its data, gone for good.

What it does

Six things, done properly.

FinTidy is not trying to be your accountant. It answers one question well: can I afford this, and what does it cost me this month?

Your real balance

The dashboard opens on the one number that matters: what you actually have left. Not a forecast, not an estimate.

Two taps to log

Amount, category, done. Notes and a back-date are there when you need them, and out of the way when you do not.

A target you can see

Set what you want to save each month. A single bar shows how close you are, and it updates the moment you log a purchase.

Find any month

Browse back through your history and filter by month, by category, or by what you wrote in the note field.

Your own categories

Start with a sensible set, then add, rename, and retire your own. Your spending does not fit somebody else's list.

Where it actually went

Monthly reports break your spending down by category, so the surprise line item stops being a surprise.

How it works

Set up once, in about a minute.

  1. Step 1

Email and password, or your Google account. No phone number, no ID check, no waiting list.

  2. Step 2

    Tell it four numbers

Your currency, what you have saved right now, what you earn each month, and what you want to put away. That is the whole setup.

  3. Step 3

    Log as you spend

Add each expense as it happens. FinTidy keeps the running balance and the savings bar current on its own.

Inside the app

What a month actually looks like.

Three screens carry almost all of the work. Here they are, with a month of sample figures running through them.

Pricing

One plan. About the price of a coffee.

FinTidy costs money because the alternative is advertising or selling what it knows about your spending. Neither of those is going to happen, so the app is paid for by the people who use it.

That also means there is exactly one thing to get right: making the app worth keeping. No engagement metrics, no upsells, no premium tier dangled behind the feature you actually wanted.

Questions

The ones people ask most.

Something else on your mind? Get in touch.

What does FinTidy cost?

$4 a month, with the first 14 days free. There is one plan, everything is included in it, and there is no advertising anywhere in the app. Billing goes through Google Play Billing, so FinTidy never sees your card.

What happens if I cancel?

You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again. Cancel from the Play Store in a few taps, with no notice period and nobody to email. Your data stays put in case you come back, and you can erase it entirely whenever you want.

Why is it not free?

Because the two ways to make a free finance app pay for itself are advertising and selling what it learns about your spending, and neither is going to happen here. Charging for it keeps the incentives pointed at one thing, which is making the app worth keeping.

Do you connect to my bank account?

No, and that is deliberate. FinTidy has no bank integration of any kind, so there is no account to link and no credential of yours for anyone to lose. You enter your own figures, which takes a few seconds a day and keeps the whole system in your hands.

Where is my data stored?

Sign-in is handled by Firebase Authentication, so your password is never stored by FinTidy. Everything else — transactions, categories and monthly summaries — lives in a private database on Amazon Web Services, US East (N. Virginia). The privacy policy spells out the details.

Can I change my currency or my savings target later?

Yes. Both are set during first-time setup and can be changed from Settings whenever your situation does.

How do I delete my account?

Settings, then Delete account. It erases every transaction, category and summary along with your sign-in identity, immediately and permanently. Full instructions are here, including how to request deletion if you no longer have the app installed.
